This a video of my recent fishing trip to Lake Mead looking for big carps. Decided to fish at the Fishing Pier at Hemenway for carp. Since I overslept and woke up late I didn't want to target any other species. Used pack bait with corn set up on a Carolina Rig. Although they are considered trash fish, I love fishing for carp as you can count on a good fight. Even the small ones are pretty big compared to what you can catch for bass. Went to Echo bay Sunday and caught 5 decent catfish using a Carolina rig with fried chicken. It’s my secret weapon. I’ve caught all the types of bass and cats in Lake Mead on it😂

Always like you videos. So, what time did you get there? Some people eat carp, but upon looking them up on U- Tube, it seems they are a lot of work to prepare them but they do put up a good fight, don't they? What is the best time of day to fish for carp?
