Any pardons issued by an ex president convicted of a federal crime should be immediately suspended pending a full review and ratification by the standing President. Any pardons that are not ratified, then the original charges/convictions should apply without time restrictions. This should be a legal requirement of any pardon.

Enhanced sentencing should have been applied to Kerick. He has a law enforcement background, no excuses.
