This feels like the kind of movie to have an unironic "yup, that's me, you're probably wondering how I got here".

So what do you think the fillmmakers thought about people kneeling on a football field for other reasons?

"I, Tonya" also did a lot of meta fourth wall breaks where characters dispute what actually happened vs what's shown on screen, and so did "The Big Short" even besides the celebrity cameos

I see and hear Average Joe, I immediately think Dodgeball, probably go watch that instead

God has blessed the filmmakers with a sense of humor, at last.

Sad to me that the Bible tells people to be humble and private with their prayer but these people put themselves above that.

Not even Family Guy's Joe would watch this 😅😅

This is based on Joe Kennedy, who was the assistant coach at my old high school (Bremerton High).
Apart from his religion, he was just flat out a bad coach. I believe his overall record was something like 6-32.
He managed to get his job back, got a $1.77 million dollar settlement, then resigned after his first game back
...pretty much showing everybody it was never about the religion, but all about the Benjamins...

Football players usually pray before the game starts.

The latest in the series of movies labeled as "For Boomers with Victim Complexes"

It's always from Brad's reviews that I find out these persecution movies even exist 😂

Christ, if there's THAT much fourth wall breaking in this film, I'd rather stick to "I Tonya" or "The Big Short" instead. Those at least don't overdo it with that gimmick at all just made better use of it in comparison. With what is talked about here, it's about as worse as freakin' SHE HULK! And one REALLY does not a repeat of that trash.

So I’m gonna be watching Batman vs. Dracula later tonight. Even as a right winger, these kinds of sappy flicks just tick me off. I want an adventure, not a love fest or a sob story.

Saturday Night, We Live in Time, Piece by Piece, TERRIFIER 3, and he chooses this movie to see this weekend?!

If I heard Brad right, this movie's makers accidentally satirized themselves.

As someone who lacks interest in either, I don't see how the concept of that Disciples movie is any more far-fetched than the likes The Handmaiden's Tale.

Did the movie end with him quitting after returning for 1 game and then turning to the camera and saying "Yeah, I did it all for the money"?

Cmon Brad. It’s a movie about football and a guy kneeling on the field… it was RIGHT THERE! I can’t believe you let it pass!

My favorite part is when Alito and Thomas instead of talking, was just snarling and foaming at the mouths while wearing platinum and diamond crucifix’s given to them by their billionaire donor overlords

I was expecting a PBS style documentary on Religious Liberty but what I saw was an intelligent, creative and clever Hollywood level movie that was heartwarming, heartbreaking, creative and inspirational. Five stars in my book. The result of his actions, a Supreme Court that used to be hostile to religious expression in the public sphere has now changed to be open to it. This is good for everyone.
