Magma - Hhai Live 1978 (Best Version)

Quite possibly the most perfect live music performance in the history of television, this version of 'Hhai' by Magma is absolutely phenomenal. It was recorded at the (late) Théâtre de l'Empire à Paris on 15th Oct 1978. The audio has been completely remastered by me and the finished results are insane!

I heard Christian say in an interview that this title 'Haaï' means 'life', he wrote it when his daughter Julie was diagnosed leucaemia, back in the late seventies. I saw a concert with Julie on the backing vocals, in early 2000's. Her voice was vibrating like his father's, and so high pitched! Life has won.
