There’s seemingly no limit to what Porsche can do, as they’re constantly tweaking and pushing all of their models to new levels of performance. Now for their latest trick, they’ve not only shoved our favorite 911 engine into the 718 Cayman, but given it a fully track-worthy setup nose to tail, and created the 718 GT4 RS. #Porsche #PorscheCaymanGT4RS #CaymanGT4RS

0-60 in 3.2 is still stupid fast. Glad Porsche is still making this glorious na engine

I imagine finding one for 150k is nearly impossible.

Other YouTubers have 80's graphics...this legend time traveled from the 80's to give us glorious retro videos on current beast.

What a world we live in when a 128 mph trap speed is deemed just respectable 😅

Wish it had a manual transmission option. Shame

One of the best Porsches ever produced.

Just to get some laps in this car would be a dream.

I imagine this one will have a long waiting list and with 30 to 40k in options add on top of that many dealers will probably put some crazy insane markup on them wouldn't imagine buying one for under 300k will be possible

Sounds fantastic. I never liked the sound of the 4-banger of the base 718s. To me a Cayman should have a flat 6 and I’m glad they put one in it again, even if it’s only a limited edition.

John strikes me as the nicest man on the planet, whose vehicular tastes solidified in 1985, and whos turns of phrase can best be described as, "the closest the aliens have gotten yet."

Never change, man.

Potentially greatest Porsche of all time irrespective of model. Has to be said though that unless your intending on taking on track days all the time stick with a basic 718.
On another point Motorweek is hands down best car channel out there and I love fact format has stead same throughout the years. Keep up great work MW 👍☘️

Amazing, i cannot believe this small Cayman have more power and faster than the big lamborghini diablo. How time have change. When i see $150k price tag, it remind me that Porsche are beyond normal people price tag.

Absolutely incredible car.

For my money, I'll take the heated seats and clutch in the GT3, but wow.

This might be the "Golden Era" of the NA IC engine.

I know it’s not the same 4.0 engine, but a manual GTS for half the price makes way more sense. I’d get a 911 at this price point.

They didn't specify the Weissach pack! What the hell?! It's resale value just plummeted because of it. I've had the privilege of spending a few hours in a Weissach-equipped GT4RS and it's incredible. Correctly specified these will become instant classics. The ride is firm but very well damped and controlled. and the carbon race seats from the 918 are really comfortable. I don't understand why some journalists say they're not. Expect to pay £170, 000 plus £10, 000 on the watch, but then watch it immediately become woth £250, 000 overnight. Yes, that's what they're reselling for.
