I didn’t even notice this on my first time hearing this song, but every part is a different Afton:

“I believed that I was safe, and that I would never die. Now I’m all alone, I’ve been hiding in the dark. I just want to go home, but my deeds sent me too far”

This is William Afton. He thought himself to be immortal. That he could never be stopped. But after he was trapped in the Spring Bonnie suit, he was left in the dark. Now he wishes he could go back, but he has come too far. Everything he did led him to where he is now, and he can never be who he was again.

“I often do pretend, can’t you see I’m broken down? I wish this were the end, but I continue I vow.”

This one is a little hard, but I think this is Elizabeth. She pretends, which we learn in Sister Location. She will keep trying to please her father, and fulfil her vow. This could also be Mrs. Afton, but we know nothing about her, so eh.

“I never did go near, cause I know just what I saw. Yet on that day of joy, my life ended to their flaws. Now I’m all alone, fighting monsters in the dark. I wish that I could live, but I fear I’ve gone too far.”

This one is the most obvious. It’s Crying Child. He never went close to the animatronics because of what he saw. Maybe his sister’s death to baby? Maybe his father killing someone? Maybe something else entirely? Fighting monsters in the dark is FNAF 4 and the nightmare animatronics that crying child had to face.

This is Michael. He got cocky. He let his pride get to his head, and became a jerk. This led to his brother, Crying Child, getting killed. This led him to feeling so guilty, that he promised to wander through the past by going through all the Freddy’s locations to pay for his father’s crimes by freeing the souls. While doing this, he sees his memories afar. Everything that Afton did, and how he himself killed his brother. He is reminded of it constantly.

This is every animatronic possessed by Afton’s victims. The monster is William. Even though they aren’t part of the family, they still had their lives destoryed by the Patriarch of the Afton Family. His victims.

I’m looking at the comments of explanations of the verses and who’s singing them and I haven’t seen a correct one yet.

Verse 1: This verse to me is obviously William Afton, he says how he “believed he was saved and would never die” really connecting to his pursuit to cheat death through his belief of being “saved” through his discovery of remnant. Also it says how he was “all alone”, “hiding in the dark” and that “his deeds sent him too far” with him alone and in the dark after he got springlocked in a room for 30 years and the “deeds” were him killing children

Verse 2: This one has to be Elizabeth Afton cause she said how she’s “plays pretend” which is what she did to Michael in SL. Also she said she’s “broken” which is what Michael implies she was as he said he “put her back together” in his monologue. Another thing is that it says how she “will continue and I vow” which implies she’s determined which is seen through manipulating Michael to be free and trying to make her dad proud.

Verse 3: I don’t think I really need to explain this one, it’s obviously C.C. Afton because eventhough he avoided the animatronics due to “what he saw” he still dies on “the day of joy”(CCs birthday) due to the bite of 83 which happened in part to the animatronics flaws. Also the “fighting monsters in the dark” refers to the nightmares he seemingly faces in FNAF4.

Verse 4: This is probably Michael Afton. This is since the song says “always begging please” probably refers to Michael saying that CC always says “please” to get him to stop tormenting him and the “yet the outcome I would dread, I’ve fallen to my knees and let my pride get to my head” pretty obviously refers to the bite of 83 and Michael’s regret. And the “seeing memories afar” is Michael going to locations as a night guard seeing “memories” of the past through his father’s creations.

Verse 5: This verse can be interpreted in different ways but personally, I see this as either missing children and the Afton kids or just Michael wanting to put an end to William, who is referred to as the “monster”, and be free which would get rid of “the stress”

Edit: If you look at the original video for _Afton Family, _ you'll notice it suggests Springtrap is the one singing the first verse. At the time it was written, people believed Michael was Springtrap, and as a result the verse's lyrics were based on Michael's lines from the Sister Location ending; "I believed that I was safe and that I would never die, " "I've been hiding in the dark." Yes, Springtrap, who we now know is William Afton, appears in APANgryPiggy's video, but that part of the song was originally written about Michael.
