You were a busy lady in '23! So many lovely makes!! You know, I probably wouldn't have considered making the yoga pants but they look so good on you that I'm definitely going to make a pair! Thanks for taking us on your sewing journey!!

Thanks Karen. I think you are refreshingly honest about your makes and what you do or don’t wear. We all have a similar journey - especially when starting out. Don’t let it affect your self esteem- you have some gorgeous makes that look fab on you. 😊 Lynne

WOW Karen, in such a small amount of time you have made loads, I loved looking through your garments, I think you are far too self critical, I would be so proud if I could make the garments you have, well done you

Lovely to see you Karen and oh my gosh what a productive year! I realise after listening to you how little I actually wear of my makes.I have two l standard poodles and I live in jeans and sweatshirts but I make dresses🙃 l must do better, my problem is that I am easily seduced by all of the gorgeous materials.Thank you Karen for your honest look at your wardrobe, there is much room for thought and I must look at my own plans, New Year, NewPage😂💖

Thanks for showing us your journey and I know from experience that not everything turns out great but I always hope I’ve learnt something from the failures 🤪! A lot comes down to the material chosen and in the beginning I had no real idea what I was buying. 😂

Hi Karen, great vlog. You really need to stop putting yourself down. The majority of what you’ve made is great, some might not fit but they look well sewn. All sewers never get everything to fit and sometimes pick the wrong fabric of the pattern. I hate to think of the many disasters I’ve created over the years, but I just find another pattern and there is always plenty of fabric to fall in love with, so just get on to the next think. Happy sewing 🧵🪡🇦🇺

Hi Karen, enjoyed your makes. The blue patterned dress you didn't finish dismantle it and make a straight or A-line skirt. With a white top it will look great for the summer x

Well done Karen, I love your vlogs and I especially love that you share your mistakes ( my specialties are overlooking cuff seams that end up on the right side of the fabric, using a twin needle only to discover that the nice straight stitching is on the inside ) I live in hope that my percentage fails to successes will one day magically switch round, just not holding my breath waiting for it to happen. Keep up your vlogs as I smile every time I see a new one. ❤.

I sewed a spend into my oodie neck hole, so you’re not alone! I’ve got that pink and yellow floral fabric so looking forward to seeing what you thought of it. It’s very soft, so I imagine it’ll be a little harder to work with.

Concerning the first blue dress that gapes...I am short but very busty and everything is a bit " dangerous" on me too😅 I've taken to sewing plackets and seams partway, leaning enough room to get the garments on...could maybe try that on the dress😊
