Fabulous as always! My son tells me the bloop was recently decided by scientist to be an extremely large Ice shelf breaking under water. So the foundation finally got its way. ;)

Based on the "conveniently large number of endangered birds", I'd say SCP-169 is beneath the Galapagos islands.

Setting: In an lounge room at Site - [REDACTED]. Derek and Carl are both level 2 researchers who are currently in the lounge room on lunch break after doing research on SCP-169. Derek then begins to monologue to Carl.

Derek: “Man, it’s creatures like these that makes me scared of the ocean, you know? Sometimes, you just don’t know what lies down there. We know more about the moon than we do about our own ocean, and even with extensive knowledge, it’s only 5%. Just hearing “The Bloop” gives me goosebumps. Imagining creatures of this gargantuan in size continues to remind me of how small we are on this world and in the universe.”

Carl: “I hear you man. Just reading the articles we have on this thing just give me the creeps. Imagine yourself on a boat in the middle of the ocean, and then all of sudden you see a huge shadowy figure under the surface as it crosses under your boat. Then you realize what you saw was only a fraction on its size. It’s downright terrifying.”

Derek: “Let’s just try to ease our minds a little with some good ol’ brain food. Heh, all this talking’s also got me thirsty. Do you mind handing a glass of water?”

Carl: “Sure, no problem. (Carl proceeds to fill the glass.) Hey, I recently read up on another SCP that involved avoiding bodies of water even if they were small, like this gla-“

Incident Log 1128-A:
Researcher Carl had reportedly been pulled voraciously into a glass of water, where then he was [DATA EXPUNGED]. Researcher Derek was given Class-C amnestics after the incident, and has been evaluated by the psychiatric staff for possible mental trauma. No remains of the deceased researcher were able to be recovered. Research is currently being conducted as to the range of the bodies of water where SCP-1128 can manifest into without needing an infection to occur. This is currently presumed to be case as Researcher Derek denies that Researcher Carl had ever been exposed to SCP-1128. See Interview Log 1128-B for details.

Interview Log 1128-B:
The interview was conducted by Dr. Vin, and the interviewee was Derek, who had undergone psychiatric therapy for two weeks prior. He was refrained from describing the creature to prevent a possible SCP-1128 contamination.

Dr. Vin: “Hello, Derek. I hope you are feeling better from your therapy. I understand that what you went through was a horrible experience.”

Derek: “I couldn’t believe my eyes. That thing just grabbed him and [DATA EXPUNGED], and it happened in less than a second. He was gone before I could even blink.”

Dr. Vin: “And you are certain that he was not contaminated previous to this incident?”

Derek: “I’m absolutely f*cking certain that he wasn’t!! I worked with him for five f*cking years, and we had researched on countless SCPs, other than that one. It wasn’t until last week that someone had even mentioned the SCP itself. But I can assure you that we didn’t know anything more than that.”

Dr. Vin: Well Derek, you might be shocked to hear this, but our records indicate that Carl had disobeyed direct orders after being advised earlier in the week to not look up the description of SCP-1128, stating that ‘curiosity couldn’t possibly kill the cat this time’ shortly after you and him were informed on the SCP, and tried to access documents on it.”

Derek: “I can’t believe it. He told me after we were mentioned of the SCP that our research would go on as usual, and that he promised he wouldn’t look up on it. I always knew him as being extremely curious about any topic we got our hands, but I didn’t think he would risk his life like this. HOW COULD HE LIE TO ME!!! HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND, DAMNIT!!!”

(Derek then proceeds to bash around the table, and starts to repeatedly smash against the glass of the recording room. He is then escorted by three security guards after a minute of scuffling between them.)
End Log

I am prioritizing that we discourage researchers from wanting to know more about SCP-1128 by any means necessary. In addition, anyone who has worked at Site-[REDACTED] involving SCP-1128 and has been stationed at another Site should be given Class-C amnestics immediately before they leave. We cannot allow further contamination to spread and a possible reclassification of this SCP from Euclid to Keter. - Dr.Vin

You should do more videos like this where you read SCP articles with relevant images to give us something of a view of what you're explaining. This one was very well put together and videos like this are what gets more views from the fan base.
