16 Bit Remix: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Theme

The intro to the long lost Sega Genesis game! O_o Not really.... Enjoy!
This is the opening theme song to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, done in a 16-bit style similar to the old Sega Genesis games. This was made in FL Studio using the VOPM plugin, (for Genesis-style instruments) and the DAC drum samples from Sonic 3.

I would have gone with Mare in the Moon as the first level. You have to navigate the Everfree Forest and locate each of the Elements of Harmony, which for the sake of gameplay have been hidden by Nightmare Moon. Each of the Mane Six is needed to conquer a particular obstacle of the level. For example, Pinkie is needed to vanquish the evil trees.

I wish more people would make 16-bit conversions, instead of 8-bit. IMO, the genesis had some of the best sounding video game music ever, and I honestly prefer the sound of that to NES 8-bit. (I still enjoy both, I just prefer 16-bit.)
