Portuguese milk tarts
Recipe:
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
4 eggs beaten
1/2 cup melted butter unsalted
3 3/4 cups whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional : cinnamon sugar for topping

Pre heat oven to 400. In a large bowl add in sugar and eggs. Mix well. Slowly add in the melted butter while mixing. Slowly add in milk while mixing. Slowly add the flour while mixing. Stir in the vanilla. Add to large measuring cup and pour 3/4 full into lightly buttered muffin tins. Bake 35 minutes. Sit in tin for 10 minutes then transfer to cooling rack to completely cool. Top with cinnamon sugar if desired. Place in fridge or eat warm. I think they're best after they chill in the fridge for a couple of hours
