You could predict this outcome from ten seconds in when you see where his left hand is on the wheel. One of the most instantly telling signs that someone doesn't know wtf they are doing.

Driver has no feeling for the car... even if you are driving the car for the first time.
He could have firstly saved it by not throttling in the corner, second time was when the car got in the slide, everything was still fine, he could easily just brake and the car would have stopped sideways on the road, but he decided to steer, but he did not know where his wheels are, because he just has no feeling for the car... so he steered far too late... :/
