From CSW66 to COP27: Examining Gender Under the UNFCCC

In the weeks leading up to the 66th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 66), WEDO hosted the training session, From CSW66 to COP27: Examining Gender Under the UNFCCC.

The training provides a foundational understanding of gender equality under the UNFCCC and frames CSW66 as a strategic momentum building opportunity toward greater progress at the next UN Climate Change Conference (The 27th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC - COP27) to be held this November.

The training was facilitated by Tara Daniel (WEDO) and featured presenters including Patricia Bohland (LIFE e.V. and Women and Gender Constituency Coordinator), Emilia Reyes (Equidad de Género) and Angela Ebeleke (National Gender and Climate Change Focal Point of the Democratic Republic of Congo).
