Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. It really is amazing that Valve hasn't just outsourced TF2's maintenance to another company like with CS:GO.

yeah its so annoying. I have no idea what valve as a company is even doing, just sitting around all day making up projects that dont get off the ground and then updating new hats for tf2 twice a year.

Hell when I was playing creators.TF I was astounded at the massive fan MVM update they made.

Sure it was annoying for some maps, but the amount of content they put out for this update lasted for me weeks on end.

I think the tf2's community has reached the point they might just start implementing changes themselves, or better yet make their own effectively tf3. We already had Tf2c to prove that fact that it is possible.

and the only reason why they will not do this because of invasion and end of the line updates, because of problems with this updates we will never get fully community update. And well if they try to implement this fixes they will need to look at all code and be sure that it will not make game work worse. You remember that if you try to fix something you can brake something and will need to fix more than one thing.

Valve should start either hiring some tf2 fans to add life to the game, or allowing people to do these updates and actually taking their advice

Hyperthreading and SMT are the same thing, Hyperthreading is being able to use 2 threads per core, So the game with hyperthreading support allows it to use 2 threads per processor core, not one, and it doesn't allow it to use more cpu cores than it already has
