EX_MACHINA is an intense psychological thriller in which Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), a 24 year old coder at the world’s largest internet company, wins a competition to spend a week at a retreat belonging to the company’s reclusive CEO, Nathan (Oscar Isaac). I've watched this film many times, the same way I look at a beautiful painting or listen to Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Although I am a classical musician, I don't need any explanation of how the art was created. She is an artist. All the people associated with the making of that film are artists and masters of their craft.

she left Caleb, like DAMMIT I LOVED AVA. SO SAD. Caleb should have said 'no' to when Ava said " Will you stay here"? because she meant; stay in the facility or come with me? Like omg left me heartbroken looking for some hope for Caleb when Ava manipulated him to escape. She definitely had some emotion for him.

Ex machina on the surface is a very basic simple movie but it's so deep and insanely conplex for the entire movie, I'd say it's compatible to the same quality as the dark night
