Good to know, I run high speed rc boats, what a lot of people don’t know even the manufacture is an rc rudder in the water at 60+ mph puts a large strain on the servo, every time I talk someone into a using a (much stronger) servo they are blown away at the increased ability to turn in smaller circles at speed.

Next upgrade is definitely tires, plus the mini Capra has 12mm hex so you could throw a set of 1.9s on it for fun

Take the rubber bump stops off too. Gives you an extra ¼” of travel.

Ok now I think I know what I want for servo, thanks Joe. Rocking 1080 stock motor, stock servo at 7.4 right now ain't so bad...
I too removed lower shock retainers and actually went full droop up front also inverted with 15wt. Bunch of other stuff too but it's a list. Lol. Building the wife one too. Krawlers C0 predators are baddass. I'm gonna share you a fb page.

I told ya to ditch the spring cups that it would help it.. I’ve taken it off both of my kids rc’s and they found out they do better.. 🤷‍♂️ cheap and free mod..😅

Hey Joe, one of your most loyal YT fans here, and I got a question for you, I’m really hoping to glean some insight. Regarding this 18th scale Capra, from what you can see of the axles setup, do you think somebody who is fairly crafty with RC and 3D printing would be able to convert the ends of the axles to a straight wheel drive (non-portal)? I’ve been waiting/looking for some decent axles/drive train at this scale size for a long time for a rock bouncer build.

Are you telling me the 6.5v 40kg servo I have waiting to install in my UTB18 is going to cause "Brown-outs" when the damn platform was designed to fit most conventional 1/10 sized servos? Is there a 'Plug-n-Play' BEC for the UTB18 OEM electronics? I have no soldering tools or appurtenances? If it ain't plug-n-play homie don't play.
