Well done! Made me realize all our days off trail are even more repetitive. Get up, shower, walk and feed the dogs, drive to work, work, drive home, veg out with YouTube, sleep, get

And the scenery most never changes....

“you can do one more mile. You can always do one more mile. “. Absolutely love that quote. AT 2020, coming soon.

Eating a mile before camp. Cant believe I never thought about that. Thanks for the idea. I'll put it to use on the CT next year.

I love that you went back and added footage from when you were out on trail. Awesome to see the routine of a fellow backpacker and how our styles are similar, but differ in many ways. You are absolutely right that the amazing thing about hiking is the complete freedom to make whatever choices you want. So awesome. Great video Dixie! Enjoyed 🙌🏻

Do a video on your zero days and the little towns that you really liked. And an other on the wonderful nature spots. (I'm thinking it's not just an athletic event) love the videos thanks!

I am a bushcrafter. Thank you for this glimpse into your life. I've been curious as to how our worlds differ and this explained it perfectly. Thank you again!

The easiest job you can ever ask for, the hardest job you can ask for. Some of the most exciting boredom you'll ever experience. It has such wonderful Ying and Yang you can ever hope to be blessed with in life.

My rythm is early to bed and late to get up. It works. :-)

Pretty sure we could be trail mates! I totally see myself having a slightly slower start and a motivated afternoon, too! I appreciate the way you honestly share with just the right amount of TMI🤣

Your comment about you favorite time of day made me think of this favorite poem from a favorite movie.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. — Robert Frost

Great video!

Can you do another one, but for a “town day”? That would be super helpful for future long-distance hikers like me :)

Wow, great video. I'm ready for a nap after watching this. A guy I once talked to said thru- hiking is just like a job. You get up, go to work, (hike), then go to bed at night. Just in a different location every night.

There are no coincidences with meeting people on the trail- only divine appointments.
Great videos!
Keep up the good work!
