In this video I go over the 5 key steps I took to save my first $100,000 while paying off $28,000 in student loans from grad school all in 5 years. My net worth was negative for years until I put my head down and saved every penny I could. It was only when I turned 30 that I felt a solid sense of financial stability with my first $100,000 saved. And yes the pandemic definitely helped! Some tips may not be relatable but hope you at least get a chuckle out of some of them. Paying off debt and saving money may not be the sexiest things to do so I feel you if you’re feeling knee deep in the slog! Cheers to a wealthy and financially stable/independent/free future ahead for all of us!

Budgeting a specific amount for each category is a game-changer! It adds structure to your spending habits and prevents unnecessary expenses. The emphasis on practical categories like groceries and household items reflects a thoughtful and strategic approach to financial planning.

I did all of the same, Paid off a similar amount of debt in a similar timeframe and got a job that pays about double what I was earning previously.
Unfortunately its very hard to save $100k when you get a wife who is a net drain financially.
Don't get me wrong I love her, But my biggest financial advice would not to start a relationship with someone who "Needs" to spend and "Cant" work lol
