If a government employee falls ill during service or is injured in an accident, leave may be granted on the basis of a medical certificate. And this holiday will be deducted from the Leo account. And this holiday will be a maximum of 180 days at a time with full pay. A government employee can get this leave on a medical certificate for 365 days in his entire service. Leave on medical grounds cannot be denied. The officer approving the leave has the power to ask the Civil Surgeon or Medical Board to re-examine the employee concerned. Half pay leave can be converted into full pay by presenting a medical certificate.
