Episode 279 - This week we go back in time to Spring 2022 when Andre and I visited a beautiful Georgian Hall permission. One of the fields was used as a cricket pitch in Victorian times and is absolutely loaded with old coins.

Very interesting! I once found several One Penny 1910 coins at the site of a WW1 German military camp.

Nice little coin haul. Lovely silver but check your EdwardVII for the open 3 in the date. If it is an open then it is one of the rare ones.

At last, a silver coin.Nice as well. I had an Edward 1st hammered last week. It really makes your day.Also had a Charles 2nd twopence, but poor condition. Anyway, good one Gareth

Great Video Gareth, I would say that the Edward VII penny that you have found at 9:51 looks to be uncirculated. Its just green from corrosion but great finds! Keep it up
