As im literally listening to your videos, the moment u said use your rod to pull it in instead of just reeling it in i did it and had a crowd watch me get my first top water blow up. It got me shaking! Thanks for the tips

I'm not a bass fisherman but this video was very informative and very helpful for understanding the specific bait. Thanks for sharing with us.

The way he hit just as you were talking about changing speeds couldn't have been anymore epic.

A couple things that I do when WP is I add a barrel swivel to the O ring to keep it from "torpedoing", change out the hooks and add electrical shrink wrap to the rear hook to keep it straight out to prevent it catching on the propeller. Just make sure that the wrap doesn't go over the ball !

80% of my bass caught with the whopper plopper have been hooked right when the plopper hits the water, so don’t worry about it scaring them away.

You do an excellent job teaching. You answer the What, Where, When, How quickly and in a way this is easy to understand. Outstanding videos and very enjoyable also.

Whopper plopper is my favorite lure hands down. I personally have been having better luck with the 75. I think it makes a deeper gulp sound. But 110 is always a must

7:32 I'm new to bass fishing and I'm just wondering why you switched to a spinning reel to throw the wacky worm instead of just continuing to use a different baitcaster. Is there a reason or is that just the reel and rod that you had?

This baits effectiveness is outlived. To many of them out now and fish seem to knowledgeable of it. Great for ponds and unpressured water.

Last year I was using the lure and he smacked it with his tail and it just missed my head. Went right back and nailed him. Thank you for the tip

Haven't tried a buzzbait yet. When pre-spawn starts in April to early may I'll try a buzzbait. Top water is great for pre-spawn an spawn season

Many of my bites come when the bait hits the water. Rarely do they bite on the retrieve.

I throw it out there, and then let it sit a few secs, give it a twitch. Thats how to get them.

While it's true that big lures landing right on or near a fish may spook them- when they are in an aggressive phase that is exactly what you want in order to elicit a reaction strike- nice video overall
