Crysis Remastered 2020: Multiplayer First Impressions

It has been 7 years since the demise of Game Spy Arcade and the death of Crysis multiplayer. But can the remastered version scratch that itch?

I mean, the problem is that if you have ever played Crysis for it to be nostalgic for you, chances are you have ALREADY played through it at least once in the last few years for the sake of nostalgia (and most likely never bothered to finish it lol), but we have not been able to experience the multiplayer aspect, the territory control, the nuke tanks, the laser guided rocket spam, the claymore sneakiness for nearly 7 or more years now.
This is just a tech demo. It is PRICED as a tech demo. But you had the chance to bring back a component we actually have not been able to enjoy for all these years and, as A.J would put it ''YOUVE GONE FUCKED IT UP''.

As for myself, I am not really angry. I had a feeling this might be the case, so I was just disappointed. I played as far as the first area, thought it looked fine and just refunded it. Good job with the tech demo, shame about the game.

it really is messed up! not having multiplayer.... i bought it and straight away refunded it! Crysis 1 was amazing fun for online play!!!! it seriously is so stupid!!! why would I buy a remastered game like this for single player? Crysis non remastered still looks fine enough, heck if that was still supporting multiplayer I would have been ok with that! This remastered version is a joke and the disconnected why people played this game is a joke. Was looking forward to playing this multiplayer!!!

Aw man I was really hoping that this game would have revived the originals multiplayer, which was imo the best battlefields style multiplayer game ever.

i grew up playing crysis one multiplayer, it was something special that i have not got out of the new crysis's, cod, or battlefield. i am sad. thanks for saving me some money. the closest to the original crysis multiplayer is probably natural selection 2.

Yeah they should had sold the game for $40 dollars and bring multiplayer and even try to bring more futures. I say $40 so people think “ohhh this time we put a lot of work into the game we fix multiplayer and make a better multiplayer and guess what we even make some brand new FRESH out of the oven Maps” so $40 dollars people will say we did WELL.
