What’s not being said here is that the formerly enslaved were highly skilled and the Irish couldn’t compete so they rioted. They did the same thing in NYC so they appeased them by making them cops.

If the Black people had done that to the Irish, the authorities would have sent the troops to get rid of them. But no one came to help the Black people being tortured. This country has a lot to answer for.
