Awesome video as always, MC, I especially liked your attempts to Reify such an alien and bizarre creature as the Xenomorph. With your references to parasitic insects, viruses, and processes that could replicate the acid blood. It's truly fascinating to theorize the biology of such a creature, as alien as it is, it's based in real science and it's clear the creators of Alien did their homework in making it seem like a creature that could exist.

I'm glad to see you branching out into Sci-Fi for these Beastiary entries, even if alot of Sci-Fi creatures do not draw directly from myth and folklore, plenty do have legendary counterparts, such as the golem to the robot. I wonder if any creature in myth and legend would be considered a counterpart to the Xenomorph? Perhaps some monster that preys on people to create more of itself? Like how the Incubus and Succubus rely on human sperm and eggs to produce more of their own? Especially since both they and Xenomorphs have deep themes of sex, namely sexual assault and the perversion of sex. Or possibly Zeus who would take many different forms to impregnate human Women? Similar to how the Xenomorph offspring are influenced by the host body?
