Wonderful video for the southern stretch of Italy ! Southern Italy has also amazingly pretty landscape as do the northern stretch of Italy but, sadly many of their dwellers throw out their unwanted home's leftovers right on the streets and in the sea, which is a so upsetting sight and utterly nature unfriendly. If the southern italians heighten their awaraness about street and landscape cleanliness then southern Italy would be so wonderful as is Liguria and Toscana or Venice and maybe even more strongly wished-for. Also, as the whole world knows -the italian native cypresses and umbrella pines are one of the most handsome trees on the World and if they are more often seen in the landscape of Soutnern Italy, this would be amazingly bewitching sight and loveliest feeling, so dear southern Italians you should sow more umbrella pines and mediterranean cypresses along the length of streets, roads and next to hotels, residential buildings, villas and houses.

You are correct about the local mafia I didn't notice them at all and I was there for a month. As for bad neighborhoods my cuginos friend went into some really scary area ( yes we were young and stupid)for a "pick up". I kept my mouth shut and didn't say a word :)
