Caught this one - transmitted on 3470kHz for a few minutes, stopped, then another transmission started on 3460kHz. Maybe it was the same station...

Dude on 3460kHz is still around, singing along his records. Makes from some bizarre karaoke, I love it! :D

Interesting reception! The song we can hear on 3470kHz is called "Vivre pour le Meilleur" by Johnny Hallyday, a french singer.

This guy has been messing around on 3.460MHz LSB for years. Sometimes he talks very quickly in a female comedy voice. He tries to make it impossible for other pirates to talk (who are actually very mature people). I think he might also be responsible for the loud static sound which is sometimes heard wide across some bands.
I was just about to say he often plays reggae. People do sometimes manage to talk with him but you can't get that much sense or reason out of him.

just heard these tonight,
one on 3.470 was playing bob marley...
then i found another on 3.46.0 playing french stuff..
seems they are normal radio pirates playing records to each other ??
but not actual radio stations as they un-key the transmitter as they take it in turns to play a record ???

just found another on 3.465 playing red hot chilli peppers..
all had a carrier i could zero beat down to clear audio on LSB..
