HoC is Netflix's very first original series ever.
At the end of season two, the protagonist, Frank Underwood, finally gets what he's been fighting for in the first two seasons, becoming the most powerful man in the free world - President of the United States of America. The season ends with him banging his ring and knuckle against his desk in the oval office. If you haven't seen it, it's a very powerful scene. But you must obviously watch every episode before it first. And ever since then, Netflix has been using that bang sound as their intro.
