In celebration of the recent 18th anniversary of Bombay Dreams, Andrew had a very special catch-up with the Oscar-winning A. R. Rahman. A truly incredible meeting of minds!

A.R.Rahman is an Indian composer in the league of World Class Composers like John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith, Alexandre Desplat, Michael Giacchino, Dave Jordan, Thomas Newman, Ludwig Goransson, Alan Silvestri, Dave Jordan, James Horner, Danny Elfman ... and even better because of his extreme versatility ranging from Western Classical, Orchestral, Electronics, Indian Classical to almost everything. Sorry if my comment is repetitive, I just want to celebrate a living legend.

Aw I miss my Bombay Dreams Family. Sir Lloyd Webber probably doesn’t remember me but I worked front of house from the opening of the show. What was so amazing about that show was that the cast, the front of house team and the backstage crew all knew each other and were very close. It really was lite a huge family and I was so proud to be part of it. I just can’t believe it’s already been that long ago!

This collaboration was unbelievable in those days. Only Rahman could do it.

Mr. Rahman.. Please bring your music more to the UK and elsewhere. From myself and my friends who love music in Chennai and Delhi.. Please...it was a pleasure to first head to Bombay Dreams in London in the 2000s

Lovely to wake up on a sunny Sunday morning in this time of global pandemic and isolation and listen to two brilliant artists discussing their compositions and how music can bring such healing in times of diversity and bring people together all over the world without even a mention of the elephant in the room. Thank you for your erudite thoughts. Although we must all be social distancing this way of sharing feels very intimate and personal.

I absolutely LOVED Bombay Dreams on Broadway - saw it twice and would have gone more times if it stayed longer. I was up and singing along by the second time. I wish there was a video available to purchase of the entire show. I'd be first in line to buy it.

Yea that was Good Music, Because I've Heard some Horrendous Music come from the 2000's, Simply Dreadful Music, The 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's had some of the Best Music I've heard in My life, because it was Music that told a Story, take Skimbleshanks from CATS For example, there's a whisper down the line at 11:39 Saying Skimble where is Skimble, We must find him or the Train can't go. and then there's An Ode To Rumpelteazer Written by Me in 1999, after I saw CATS 1998, One white dove with a head of Black, and Fourteen Dots run Across back. 2 lines and I have you Hooked. There's More to the Poem, but You have to watch a Video to see the Whole Thing.

4 Months since March 20, 2020, Around Andrews Birthday, The last Time I was in a Cinema, was December 28, 2019, and the Last Thing I Saw was Tom Hooper's CATS, #Cats2040, I can do a better Job, and the 2019 Film got a lot of hate, Please Andrew, give a Jellicle a Chance to Direct CATS, I know the numbers by heart I can do it. I just need someone to believe in me.
