Comprehension \( \quad: A \) graph between \( \mathrm{x} / \mathrm{m} \) and the pressure of the gas at a constant temperature is called adsorption isotherm, where \( x \) is the no. of moles of the adsorbate and \( m \) is the mass of the adsorbent. Adsorption isotherms of different shapes have been experimentally observed, according to Freundlich adsorption isotherm.
Graph between \( \log \left(\frac{x}{m}\right) \) and \( \log P \) is a straight line at an angle of \( 45^{\circ} \) with intercept \( \mathrm{OA} \) as shown.
Hence, \( \left(\frac{x}{m}\right) \) at a pressure of \( 2 \mathrm{~atm} \), is:
