=(sin^2(x))^2
Applying power reducing formula for sin^2(x):
=(1-cos2x / 2)^2
=[1-2cos2x+cos^2(2x)] / 2
Then the power reducing formula for cos^2(x):
=[1-2cos2x + cos4x] / 2
which simplifies to:
1/2 - cos2x + 1/2cos4x
