Did the version that FL passed include the provision that exempted social media platforms run by companies that run amusement parks? (aka exempts Disney... no I'm not making this up.). That seemed... like it would invite challenges....

Fun fact: there aren't exceptions to this law that you'd expect. For example, if you registered as a candidate for office and then posted illegal images of minors Facebook couldn't take down your account.
Or, in other words, this law was written by idiots.

People who are equating the use of Facebook to the use of a supermarket or network provider have missed one key issue-
On a social media site, you're not the customer. The advertisers are the customers, you are the product the companies are selling. The advertisers pay the companies to provide a platform for you to see their ads. The product is your time and your eyes.

So, imagine supermarket products were sentient. Would Wal Mart sell pepsi bottles saying 'I ❤️ Nuclear War', or potato snacks called 'Arbeit Mach Fries'? No. Therefore Facebook, Twitter etc. don't want to sell people saying the same thing.

Funniest part about this joke of a law is that they exempted companies that also own a theme park. I presume that Disney worked a little of their magic on the law.

That's dissapointing I was hoping to hop on Parler or whatever and spam them with liberal ideas and take them to court with this law when they kick me out
