The "little jug" you are referring to on the 1825 Sovereign is actually the Imperial Crown of the Holy Roman Empire. It represents the office of the Arch-Treasurer which passed to the Elector of Hanover in 1777.

had to re watch this amazing episode numi for the ultra super rare brioch, that superb charles 1st french portrait engraver was a master...the Cromwell pattern and the George iii Petrucci and the william to be viewed again, .. a real treat to see, , and to listen to the detailed commentary of both yourself and steve hill.., , i like learning where the signatures are, what the terminology is for all the hidden marks, , fascinating
