My first serious mod to mine was tearing it apart and swapping in a turbo LS - still working on it.

I have the Eurocharged tune on my 2005 NA automatic Roadster and the 74mm larger throttle body. I did the tune first and noticed a bit of power increase along with smoother power and torque all the way to the redline. After swapping the stock throttle body for the larger one and retuning, the car was transformed and finally felt responsive and adequate. With traction control off, I spin'em off the line and also break the tires loose when it shifts to second in around 55 degree weather. This is with sticky tires already warmed up. I often drive the car in winter mode to take advantage of the added torque. I may someday install a CAI if I find a used one for good price as the air supply is one of the Crossfire's weak point. This is one of the most underestimated car out there. I also have an SRT6 hardtop that I think I will sell before it gets me into trouble. It was plenty fast when I first got it, but became seriously fast after a Eurocharged tune. This means going from 330hp to claimed 368hp. It seriously feels faster and the power is smoother as well. The only inconvenience is putting the power to the asphalt. It was easy to break them loose before but after the tune it is way too easy to do. It feels very much like a muscle car while being refined.

I’ve never driven a NA crossfire. I own a modded srt6 and I have 197k on mine. Goal is to have it until 300k. I want be the highest mileage srt6 on the road. It eats rear tires like nothing though.

Great video. How much more HP would you say he got from the mods? It was never mentioned.

I have the srt6, got it at 70k km now I'm at 98k, got the single cold air Intake aswell, cars pretty quick! 4.8 0-60mph even though I feel like it's quicker then that.. and for 2200$ I can go from 330hp to 400+ hp and 420+ torque, car would be like a mini gtr. Gonna try wrap it, new rims, front and side splitters, I'll be happy

Could you convert this one to the srt6? What would I need for that

So, could a Merc Kompressor unit be fitted to that? Would it even work?

I don’t think the video answered the question “is modifying a Crossfire worth it”. Ok so we heard about 2 things fitted aftermarket?

The issue with the Crossfire is that it’s cheap enough that people who have no idea WTF they’re doing keep buying and ruining these cars with ricer bullshit. 🤦‍♂️

There is a proper way to mod cars, try to make it look factory, period. Any mod you do plan it out and try to mimic what a manufacturer would have done. Stop destroying the limited pool of cars with ricer bullshit please.
