The Avenger : Infinity War movie is one of the most startling example of the incorporation of Mahabharata style characters into a futuristic scenario. It almost seemed as if I had visualized this movie way before I saw it on the big screen at PVR cinemas at Phoenix Market City in Kurla, Mumbai, India. It perhaps seems like one of the most expensive Marvel films ever made. However the strange but interesting resemblance to the excerpts from the Bhagavad Gita or the Ramayana made it more interesting for me as I could not help comparing the villain Thanos to Raavan and Duryodhan. Mahabharat is also known to be a war in which nuclear bombs were said to be used and the proof still exists extending over a widespread region across India and Pakistan. It has also led conspiracy theorists to believe that Indian God were some form of ancient alien species who arrived on Earth at definite intervals of time to establish order and balance and to organize generation after generation of the human species. I am eagerly awaiting Avengers 4 after experiencing the mystery of the Infinity war movie.
