✨Your Suffering Is Not in Vain✨
Hardships in life are never for nothing.
Trials are never in vain.
When you've lost someone you love, when you or someone you love has been diagnosed with a terrible disease, when your marriage is struggling &/or falling apart, when you’re sad in life because something you greatly desire has not happened yet, & when you're discouraged because something you are dealing with is still present in your life- whatever it is that hurts & grieves you, it is not for nothing, it is not meaningless, & it is not in vain.
In God's hands, it has a purpose.
Everything you go through can be used by God to build your character, strengthen your heart, & draw you closer to Him- in a way that otherwise would not be, if it wasn't for the valley that you went through (or are going through).
Everything you go through can also be used by God to help others. You do not know when or how (or who), but one day you just may see, & perhaps know the purpose of why you experienced what you went through.
God has a way of orchestrating life in such a way, that it could only be Him to arrange events & order your steps in such detail, & life only makes sense after the fact- it only makes sense when you look back.
The fiery trials of life refine us. They purify us, & it is in the furnace where we experience God's faithfulness in our lives. It is then, when we see that He is God.
If you have been born-again, then you belong to Jesus, & He will carry you through till He brings you home to glory.
It says in Romans 8:28, “And we know that ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.”
Your story, what you have gone through & may be going through, can be used by God for good in the lives of others- for their blessing, your benefit, & ultimately the glory of God.
Pray that God will help you to see the hidden blessing in disguise, the opportunity at hand, & the preciousness of Jesus, no matter what happens in life.
Ask God to help you to live with eternity stamped on your eyes, & to help you remember that your light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for you a far more exceeding & eternal weight of glory.
When we are looking unto Jesus, the Author & finisher of our faith, & we have an eternal perspective, we take the focus off of ourselves & what we presently see & feel (which is temporary), & we establish our feet upon the Rock Jesus Christ, as we fix our eyes on Him.
If life is good & everything is going well, praise God, bless His name, & glory be to Him. James 5:13 says, “Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.”
And when life is not all we wish it would be, & there's struggle after struggle & obstacles in the road, hold on to Jesus, bless His name, & glory be unto God Who is always worthy to be praised.
James 5:13 also says, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.”
“But Jesus answered them, ‘My Father has been working until now, & I have been working.’” John 5:17
God is always working. Choose to see God working in your life. Even if life is not exactly what you want it to be- even if things are not in your timing, nor the way you were hoping He would work, choose to see God moving in your life.
“This is what the past is for! Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see.”
Corrie ten Boom
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:18

If you are reading this & have not been born-again, cry out to God & say “God be merciful to me, a sinner!”

✨When Life Doesn't Make Sense✨
“There are many things in the providence of God which at the time are dark & obscure, but which the future makes clear & plain.
The Lord may pour bitterness into our cups of sweetness. Our lives are full of strange, perplexing things, & we do not know what they mean.
Our dim eyes cannot read the dark pages. Our dull ears cannot hear the voice of love that speaks out to us from every circumstance.
Our heavy hearts cannot perceive the love which throbs with full pulse in every event. But there will come a day when every dark page in our life's history shall be explained- when all the tangle & confusion shall be unraveled, & the web shall lie before us woven through unto the end, with threads of gold & silver.
This word of Christ is the key to all the dark & strange providences in the life of every believer:
'You do not know now what I am doing, but later you will understand' (John 13:7)."
