Hi coach donny. I just wanted to thank you for these amazing videos. For so long I’ve been trying to touch the rim on my basketball hoop, and after watching some videos and using proper footwork, I finally touched the rim

I play volleyball in middle school right now, and my main plan is to get on the highschool team(number one main focus right now, I'm in eighth grade and I'm a hitter) and after that hopefully if i make the team, play for 1-2 years and then try out for club when I think I'm personally ready for that. Your videos have helped me a lot and i just started going to clinics and watching your videos in the beginning of the year (when I was 12, first time I've ever touched a ball😅) and now i am on my middle school team(13 years old), so thank you! I have never really known what i wanted to do when I'm older, but I truly enjoy volleyball and find great joy and happiness in it, so hopefully my plan works! I'm trying to set small goals while I'm still considered 'young' so i can hopefully reach my biggest goal! Thanks for this video Coach Donny and VolleyVideo! (sorry for the long paragraph):)

I’m having a video conference with a recruiter tomorrow and I’m so nervous that they’ll bring up my grades. I know it’s obviously important too and my grades are pretty good but my GPA sucks. I’m 15 and only starting my sophomore year.

Hey coach thanks for the video, my daughter just turned 15 and 5’9”. I hope she will grow a little more and maybe reach 5”10”. However, as a Freshman in the state of Kentucky, she ranked in the top 5 in serving aces and in the top 30 in kills with 350. In her class she was in the top 10 or 20 in every statistical category. She has a good vertical, ball. Control and has a good volleyball IQ. She played Al around and never rotated out. She played club as a 13 year old, but as a retired teacher and basketball coach we just could not and at this time can not afford club ball. I’m working a job, but it is just not enough. She is doing individual sessions with a former Gatorade Kentucky player of the year and an all American at Notre Dame. My question and you have answered some of it in this video, but as a player with huge potential, how can she get exposure without playing club. She maybe able to her Junior and senior years, but will that be enough?
