NBA Countdown's Michael Wilbon, Stephen A. Smith and Jalen Rose join Michael Greenberg to critique Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers' abysmal performance against the Golden State Warriors following a 127-100 loss in Game 2 of of the Western Conference Semifinals.

I think Colin Cowherd and Emmanuel Acho made a valid point about Anthony Davis AKA Always Disappearing today. He is who he is. You can't change him. Same with CP3, Westbrick, Kawhi, PG-13, Kyrie, Zion, Ayton, etc. Accept the flaws.

Coach potato GMs wants to change these players but they can't. CP3 is always going to get hurt no different than AD and DA love the basketball lifestyle but not actual basketball. Patrick Beverley said it best. Not many players in the NBA have the same passion playing basketball the way previous greats did. They just want to make their money for doing as little as possible.

Lakers fans can keep trashing Anthony Davis. It's an 11-year sample size. Nothing is ever going to change about him. He's going to get injured or he's going to disappear every other game. Fans have to accept the Lakers is already AD's team. They go as far as he goes and he tends to not always want to go. Same with CP3 and Kawhi. Both have a history with injuries in playoff games. You can't control them no matter how much whining you have for them.

I do appreciate how SAS isn’t trying to baby stars like other hosts do. AD is an elite scorer and this is the playoffs. You can win a championship ring or be sent home to restart next season. What more motivation do you need this point in the season?

AD does have a lot of bad games but he gonna show up next game hopefully. I hate not knowing which AD imma get but I got the lakers in 6 maybe 7 if Lebron loses this then it’s Darwin Hams fault because they should been prepared for how the Warriors were going to adjust… Steve Kerr is just a great coach

I keep hearing about how AD had a bad game but they aren’t giving the Warriors credit for making their adjustments. Warriors made sure AD wouldn’t have that same game as GM1. Made it uncomfortable for him and Draymond played him well. They would rather let the Lakers shoot 3s and keep them off the line.

I hate to say it but yeah I agree with SAS.
Klay Thompson’s and Stephen Curry’s stellar 3 point shooting in addition to Anthony Davis’s inconsistency will be the death of the Lakers. The Warriors also seem to posses superior stamina compared to the Lakers. I hope that I am wrong but it is a lot for L.A. to overcome.
