Very nice montage! This is inspiring a Headcanon idea of mine in regards to a certain deleted lion king character who happens to be the younger brother of a particular lioness..


I’m speaking of Mheetu alright, so I will share my Headcanon.



After his ‘death’. Scar and Zira would proclaim him dead and then made Sarafina and Nala head back to Pride Rock with the warning that if they do not heed his orders, the hyenas would gladly do whatever they wished to them.

And so reluctantly they left behind Mheetu’s ‘corpse’ when in reality he was so badly crippled that the pain knocked him out making poor Mheetu look like he was dead.


It was however after everyone left that young Mheetu awoke several hours later in the night with a very pained mew!


Even at this very young stage, Mheetu knew he had to leave the Pride Lands as he did not feel safe anymore!



So, he left albeit limping with so much pain on his very small fragile body..


He would manage to reach a big River only to be caught into it’s currents and would barely manage to cling onto some logs he found before the waters could throw him around underneath!



The logs would then carry a barely conscious Mheetu quite a distance away from the Pride Lands.


The logs then came upon a shore and the badly crippled Mheetu shuddered with a quiet mew before blacking out!



It was during these moments that a group of rough looking animals found the suffering cub and were quite appalled at the injuries.


The lead animal was an African elephant going by the name of Corath!


He and the rest of them each had a rough backstory that are in early stage of revealing!



So with his sharp commands, the animals took poor little Mheetu into their guardianship with the oldest living member of their group Chasina the African Civet slowly nursing him back to health.

The birds with them would flap their wings as the group would soothe the frightened unconscious cub with the words “May the Breath of Mohatu give energy to your broken soul!”


Talon, Jagger, Brielle and Valda: *all flap their wings to comfort the unconscious little Mheetu* “Let the breath of Mohatu repair his frightened soul..”



By fate, Chasina was in fact a good old friend of Simba’s Grandmother, Queen Uru.


Chasina is one of the few if not last living old friends of Uru as most had died overtime!


Corath and the others would each take turns comforting the traumatized Mheetu with telling him things about the Circle of Life that the royal family never knew.



And then many seasons and years would pass, the rough animals now revealed to be vigilantes would help a growing Mheetu to brave the wilds by bringing ‘solemn justice’ on lawbreakers and saving other animals along with perhaps even indigenous human beings who clearly know of Mufasa, Sarabi, Simba, Sarafina and Nala!


It was in this time that the now fully grown Mheetu sported a brown mane but shared his sister’s blue eyes and her light cream fur!


Alvis and Armina who are two gruff but warm Burchell’s Zebras would act as Mheetu’s counselors.



The others who are Alessia the Aardvark, Ewan the Chimpanzee, Albern the Egyptian Tomb Bat, Sigmund the African Wild Dog, Reinhold the African Buffalo, Gunhild the Bushbuck, Calian the Aardwolf, Andro the White Rhinoceros, Brielle the African Cuckoo Hawk, Valda the Crowned Eagle, Reider the Blue Wildebeest, Tyson the Greater Kudu, Jagger the Verreaux’s Eagle, Talon the Bat Hawk, Dagger the Gemsbok, Ijk the Mountain Gorilla and Alexander the Impala would also hold an appointment meeting where Corath would pronounce Mheetu as their Special Forces Leader leading to jubilant congratulations while the said lion felt happy for the first time in ages..



Mheetu would lead his vigilante Guardians in saving many more animals and indigenous humans on top of bringing justice to wrongdoers.


It was during these ventures that Mheetu slowly began to run into his older sister’s friends who too now were adults.


The first one he ran into was.. Tojo who turned around to greet the brown maned lion with curiosity only to freeze when he looked at him.. the eyes, the fur..those visible crippled injuries.. no it cannot be..

“Mheetu? By Great Kings you’re Alive!” I imagine he would say with shell shock.


After the shock wore off, Mheetu would introduce Tojo to his vigilante Guardians though he would recognize Chasina as one of Uru’s few living friends still alive!



Malka, Chumvi, Tama and Kula would all share Togo’s shell shock upon recognizing the lion as Mheetu, a lion proclaimed dead by Scar!
