What if Vader Fought Superman?

Hey guys, welcome to our first video on a series I've wanted to do for a loooong time. Fantasy battles between different characters in Star Wars against Marvel or DC characters (or more!). This is our first run of this. In the future, where I'd want this to go, is to animate fights between different characters after Josh and I have our nerd theory discussion on it.

I hope you enjoy this one, what if Darth Vader fought Superman.
Next up, Sidious vs Thor.

If Vader came across Superman, it would be a very difficult battle for both. The thing with Vader is that he gets more powerful depending on his will. If he taps into the Padme memory, or Anakin's mother's death, I think Vader would have a big power surge.

With Kal El, he's just too powerful with not enough weaknesses. Vader would have to get his hands on Kryptonite in some way, but that is a discussion for our next VS battle on how Vader could actually kill Superman.

If Superman can fly, then he can easily achieve the high ground, meaning Superman is actually Obi-Wan Kenobi, but as a superhero and not a jedi

Correction: Comic book Superman doesn't need to breathe. In one comic, he spent 10, 000 years inside the sun.
Movie Superman is often depicted as having to breathe.
Animated Superman usually has to breathe. I recall a scene in JLU where Superman wore a mask over his mouth and nose for a space blockade.
It really depends on which version you're using.

I've said this before, but your understanding of Vader as a character is phenomenal. You know him so well I hope you do more versus with Vader and I can't wait to see part two of your fan film (I don't care how long I have to wait)

When Josh was initially listing Vaders force powers all I could think of was the scene in Forrest Gump where Bubba is listing all the ways to serve shrimp

I have 2 suggestions, but neither would probably make the cut:
Iron man vs the dark troopers from Mando season 2
Voldemort vs palpatine
But bats vs fett has my vote

As a massive fan of both characters, Superman could just blink Vader out of existence lmao. Superman has fought and defeated beings which make even the strongest characters in Star Wars like Abeloth look like ants
