Music Technology at MIT blends creativity, engineering, and musical practice. The Voxel Lab gives students a space to build entirely new ways of making sound or hack existing methods in novel ways. The result is an inspiring, multidisciplinary environment where students can combine their interests into anything their creative side can imagine, and their engineering side can build.

Voxel Lab is housed in the Jameel Rapid Prototyping Room at the MIT Innovation Headquarters, and is supported by a partnership between MIT Music and Theater Arts, Arts at MIT, and the MIT Office of Innovation.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is an independent, coeducational, privately endowed university in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our mission is to advance knowledge; to educate students in science, engineering, technology, humanities and social sciences; and to tackle the most pressing problems facing the world today. We are a community of hands-on problem-solvers in love with fundamental science and eager to make the world a better place.

The MIT YouTube channel features videos about all types of MIT research, including the robot cheetah, LIGO, gravitational waves, mathematics, and bombardier beetles, as well as videos on origami, time capsules, and other aspects of life and culture on the MIT campus. Our goal is to open the doors of MIT and bring the Institute to the world through video.

The essential thing that everyone should be thinking about right now is investing in non-government sources of income. Especially in light of the current global economic crisis. It is still a wonderful moment to invest in gold, silver, digital money, and stocks.

People have to be taught that learning is not just about passing an exam, is about becoming better at something you are passionate about

Not where these kids were going maybe, but this makes me think of a modern version of the get-up worn in The Kinks' video for "Do It Again": something you can wear under clothes, dance with it, & have the motions translate into entertaining music (or even a matching light show).

musical escape rooms using these tech and sensors then when you unlock a clue it comes in a sensor that plays a series of notes which are your clues and you could use a guitar tuner or smth to translate that and get the frequency (code number) or note itself (letter form) then that is ur clue
