I used to smoke at age 15 and im turning 17, i stopped a year ago and it was the best decision of my life.
Please do not smoke I was very lucky to have my sister help me into stopping.

I tell him to stop but he won't
I'm sure he's very stressed because of his business ( it's not going downhill, he just needs to work many hours a day )
But still, smoking isn't the answer
He was influenced by my grandpa

the lyrics tell a different story than what most people think;

this song is about toxic relationships and the consequences. while you might side with the man for smoking is indeed bad, his way of telling her is manipulative. for example, he guilt-trips her like in the lyric “you know it makes me sad”. he also talks about hitting her, I don’t have to explain to you how that’s wrong. lots of smokers smoke to cope with their terrible lives. the woman is probably using cigarettes as a coping tool to help with the abusive relationship she’s in. both of them aren’t in the right, and should try to get out of this toxic relationship.

My friends older brother smokes a lot, everytime i come to her house I would see cigarettes everywhere and my friends would always be in her room crying because her brother is addicted to abuse her a lot nowadays her brother is in therapy for some reason but please do not smoke it's bad for your health and please do not followtge things that old adults are doing it's bad and it's not good for you ^^

My grandpa used to smoke, and it ended with him in the hospital and having to remove one of his legs due to the smoke affecting it. So please, don't do ciggerets or drugs cause it can grow into an addiction that might lead to seperation from friends and the people you love, and my grandpa ended up paying one hard price for it. 😔
