Inescapable Prison (Minecraft Java)

Is it possible to trap a player in an Inescapable Prison? Not a prison it will take a very long time to get out of, but one that is actually impossible to escape from? The answer is yes, and you can do it without using any glitch-blocks. You also don't need any guards, which sounds like just as much a punishment to them as it is the prisoner. In this video I will show you how to build it, explain why it is inescapable, and explain why most of the other so-called "inescapable prisons" are actually not super hard to break out of.

Hello eagle eye! I really enjoyed your video, it was well made and thought through.
You mentioned the cobble stone generator I used in my prison. Through a lot of testing, I found out that it is not possible to glitch through the wall, and then somehow get up. I surrounded everything with obsidian, preventing anyone from using glitches to get out of the cell. But your design is genius as well, and hasn't been done before! Good job!

Raysworks is doing something similar, but it actually prevents you from dying or getting out with any items whatsoever. It also does not require spawnlocking or killing the player to get rid of their items.

If you want a more advanced version, you can use a cobblestone generator to replace the glass, so when someone breaks the redstone, the prisoner still won't be able to mine out the prison! :)

When I design prisons I try to make them at least somewhat hospitable. It's fun in a way and forces you to come up with interesting solutions.

In the first machine, if you sprint swim downwards, you can actually negate the soul sand bubbles pushing you up. So if you do that for a couple cycles you could let the magma block pull you down and you wouldn't drown because the bubbles give you air so you could do that until you get to the bottom and break the soul sand. Sneaking to go down the water isn't the fastest way to go down water. Very creative machine and great video nonetheless :)

that video you posted a few days ago about fake indestructible end crystals made me remember that if you put one in the right spot inside an enclosed 2x2x2 area, the hitbox of the crystal will be a bit larger than the area and will not allow anyone inside the enclosed area to break anything. just an idea in case you design another unbreakable room

Btw you CAN break the magma/soulsand by swimming downwards. From me experimenting randomly, you swimming down while soulsand pushes you up keeps you roughly in the same place, just veeeery slightly going upwards

A small thing, the prison is escapable. You said it yourself. Using razer synapse, you can create macros (I think they are called like that) and add a certain movement that will be repeated. In 5 days after you broke glass and swam out, u escaped.
