Throwback: Rhode Island meets rising star Billy Gilman

Rhode Island singer Billy Gilman married his partner this weekend.

People Magazine reported that Gilman and Anthony Carbone married at a horse farm in Hope on Friday.

The couple met in 2022 and got engaged in September.

But it was 24 years ago when Rhode Island was watching a rising star in Gilman. NBC 10's Nicole Livas was the reporter.
