Great info man! Easy to follow your instructions! I'm getting the S49 in a day or so. Can't wait to try out all the Komplete sounds.

Excellent video! But how do you have the custom mapped patch/preset so that it appears in the KK browser? Thanks!

Hey Matt ~ excellent video, but how can I SAVE my custom instrument mapping so that it will apply to all presets for that given synth?

Is it possible to make an assignment template as long it’s for the same plug in?

Thanks for this. I went looking for something else (how to map the CC# from something like an XY controller onto my S24) and now have a bunch more possibilities to learn thanks to your inspiration. Still, do you have an idea how to simply give them a generic CC# (like 20 and 21) so I can have them ready in tools that don't map quite as well?

Does this only work on native instrument MIDI controllers? Excellent video thank you!

Great vids Matt, thanks for all the tips!

I have no idea how to populate my custom VST list like yours is. When you click on the little person icon in KK I see you have a whole list that pops up. How do I add VSTs to that list? I can't even get my browser to highlight the person icon when using the keyboard controls??

Hi! Thank you for the video. Do you know how to change our custom pages order? Drag and drop don't seem to work.

Is it now possible to record arps and skills directly in to the track without to record only the root note, or must i still make a second midi track in cubase?

Nice video, man, thanks!
At 4:06 aprox you add a note saying that custom mapping will stay the same for every other preset from that synth. So, question: how that works? can i still browse presets from the keyboard? or if i load them from the keyboard i would be loading the previous version that has all the parameters mixed up? thanks again!

Great video! I know this video is really old but I don’t understand what you mean by creating an INIT patch. It looks like somehow you made a copy of the preset that you were using and then mapped out the midi the way you wanted it. I have been looking for information about INIT patches but am not finding much pertaining to the way you’re using it. Could you explain exactly how you did that?

Hi! is there a way to add an icon/image to your user library plugins or sample libraries? The stock grey image on them makes them difficult to sort through since they all look alike. Thanks!

Hey Matt. Thanks for the awesome videos. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I can't get Serum to load (or show up) in Komplete Kontrol. I definitely have the serum.dll file in the folder that Komplete scans form. Any help is greatly appreciated as Serum has become my go to synth of choice and seeing this video takes it to a whole different level!

Thanks this is great! One question though - do you (or anyone following the video) know how to change the name of a Page? I can’t seem to be able to do it and the manual explains everything else but this… Thanks in advance!
