Pano and Kato Akourdaleia

A drive through a beautiful, unspoilt area of Paphos. Various roads criss-cross the hills between the B7 and the Peyia - Polis road. Take any of them and you are in for a scenic treat. In this one, we start in Kathikas and drive down to Pano Akourdaleia. From there we take the (even more) scenic route to Kato Akourdaleia, before arriving at the B7. If you follow the route and want more of the same, then turn left at the junction and take the first exit, to Kritou Tera.

▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

Nice alternative route between Pano and Kato, I used to work at the herb garden in Akourdalia.. brought back Happy memories..👍

Yet another scenic route taking us places most of us won't have seen before. Definitely beneficial to have a 4x4.
Not quite up to the usual sharp video quality (4K). Have you changed cameras?

Great scenic route…. not sure about the choice of music after around 5 mins though!
