That version of Descending is incredible. Eddie's piano solo at the end was so good even the band applaud him.

Gorman is a beast - and the perfect drummer for the Crowes. Definitely noticeable now that he's gone. BRING BACK STEVE!

Behind every great band there is a greater drummer.

I seen these guys at the Civic Center in Des Moines Iowa in 93. Excellent show. Not to many real rock bands these days. Maybe Blues Traveler. My wife was pregnant with our first son and we were rockin. I had my camera snapping away when from behind me a guy tapped my shoulder and said he needed the film or had to take my camera. As I handed him my camera I told him that if he opened my new $1000 dollar camera it would ruin it. He nodded, gave me a return stub, and my camera went with him. After the show ended I went to get my camera at the check room. My heart sunk when I seen people being handed their cameras in one hand and their film in the other. When the guy seen me he looked around then pointed me over towards the check room door. When the door opened the guy quickly handed me my camera with the film still in it!! Same thing happened at the Vallair Ballroom with Johnny Winters. Unreal. Still got those pics too!

God Eddie Harsch was simply amazing. His whole band applauded for him at the end of Descending. I have tears in my eyes.

This band is insane! I'm sixty+ and I know and looove these guys since SYMM. My first thought as I was listening to them the first time was 'Just like the Stones but just a prong keener and quiet heavier.' A new sun has risen in rocker's sky! I remember a longer car ride this time when this breakthrough album came out. I had no CD player in my old car so I copied it to tape to be able to listen to it while driving. I was about two hours on the road and had the Crowes blowing out of my speakers as loud as they could yield all the time, round and round. It was a wonderfulness! Now, thirty years later I still listen to them with the same passion like then. They remain one of my all time favourite bands. And in my eyes they are the greatest live jamming rockers in the world. At least I don't see any other band that compares to them in that point. And I've seen a lot of bands in my life. This joy of playing is unique. They are sooo cool! And the masters of slow motion. I mean they have cultivated that extrem slow blues rock. And Chris is the most authentic passionate singer - and dancer(!) It's always a pleasure to watch his body language and "choreography". Couldn''t imagine someone better at this place. His voice fits in that sound just like hand in a glove. I always loved his bluesy lines and modulations. Of course there are some great singers in rock history like Ian Gillan or Robert Plant but I must admit to myself that Chris is touching me most. I'm a guitarist myself and play since decades in rockbands. Seeing and listening to the Crowes makes me always dreaming. I wished I could stand on the stage with them. Sadly I never had the chance to see them live. But fortunately there is YT and this channel and others!
I could tell so much more but I don't want to bore nobody. Let me sum up: The Black Crowes are really one of the most exciting and brilliant rock bands in history and have definitely deserved a place in rock heaven. I just think...do they have a star in the Hall of Fame? They should!
And for all fans I recommend to have a listen to The Magpie Salute. It's worth it. Take care! Cheers from Berlin

This show absolutely, positively SMOKES!!! This may very well be the best video document from the band! Thanks a million to Amorica - Womb of the Free!

I was there all three nights of that run. First two shows NO song duplication. Third night I think they played about 4 songs which had featured on the previous nights. The best shows I have ever seen when you put them altogether.

When I watch a show like this it makes me realize just how great this bad is and was. The band is in prime shape for this show, just amazing playing and vocals. There are a few bands that can bring you into their minds and make your feel their journey, The Black Crowes are one of them, magic in a bottle folks is all I can say! Killer show all the way, what a great upload thanks for posting this, no matter the crap day this just makes ya smile and keep on keeping on. Cheers

There must be something in Georgia' s air or drinkwater.
So many great bands from there.
Atlanta Rhythm Section, Georgia Satellites, R.E.M., Black Berry Smoke, Allman Bros., Dixie Dregs, Doc Holliday just to name the best known.
But the Black Crowes are the greatest to me, love them since 1992.
Saw them in Berlin by chance and was blown away.
