I feel like Konami could print a card, instantly, sleeve it up/ take extra precautions to keep it safe and hand deliver it to PSA and it'd be at max a 9

My problem with PSA is that they should be giving a comprehensive break down on **what** defines the grade. Since they clearly have a methodology behind it, they should be transparent about it.

They will never though because people that think they got a 10 but were graded a 9 will break the case and send it back to be regraded and PSA gets money when that happens.

I truly don't think they actually put cards through much inspection anymore. I've seen cards with dents come back as a 10. I've seen perfection get an 8. They're utter garbage now and people need to realize it so they can change their prices and expectations accordingly.

I think psa just loves giving 9’s I feel like even if a cards a 10 and looks like it’ll have nothing wrong with it even with good centering sometimes they still give it a 9 😭

Grading cards can be stupid a lot of the times, because even when its perfect the most youll get is a 9 and thats just unfair

And this is the fear I have once I start getting stuff graded. My standards aren’t theirs 😂 and you never know their standards, depends on the day of the week

Imo PSA is one of the worst reputable grading compagny. No justification why a card is getting downgraded... fading/misscoloration color should count, but the Summoned Skull is NM at worst

Idk why people still use psa. It seems like they never give out 10s to brand new cards, but as soon as its from a pack 10+ yeara ago theyre call eveything a 10.

Do you ever wonder if employees on the factory floor would sometimes print a few copies of the most expensive cards at the time (i.e. Dragon Master Magia) and keep them or sell them?
