I finally understand this song. Loving again is actually hard and painful. To willingly put yourself back in a vulnerable situation of love, and to do it AGAIN. There's something weary about loving again. You can feel the strain throughout the whole song, it moves almost like a loop. Yet it's anticipating the scary part -- the best part. That silence before the piano in the end, makes you hold your breath. The mechanics of how the song flows is so cool! There's a vacuum of space before letting love happen again, happens. That feeling just hits exactly like the piano melody in the end. I love how all of this song feels perpetual, like it is anticipating that release of giving in to loving again. How scary and beautiful. It's masterful art
