I had the opportunity to experience the ride the csl as a passenger, and I must admit that I was quite shaken by the experience. I'm picking up a CSL with 400 miles on it at the beginning of August. I've had some very sporting cars but I've never had ANY German car! I never paid attention to the '21+ M3/M4 when they came out but when the CSL came out in 2023 it blew me away and it became THE car to me!

I specifically wanted one in Frozen Brooklyn Grey Metallic and it had to have the ridiculous optional one-piece carbon race seats as opposed to the standard carbon reclining buckets (which are also aggressive) The one thing mine doesn't have are the optional CUP 2R tires. It is coming with the standard Pilot Sport 4S; still a great tire but I was kind of looking forward to those ridiculous CUP 2R semi-slicks LOL.

For the people who claimed it is too expensive, I guess you either get it or you don't. I LOVE details. I love the detail differences compared to standard M4 & M4 Competition: the solidly mounted rear subframe, the stiffer durometer engine and trans. mounts, the altered shift timing, the titanium exhaust, carbon splitter, carbon rear diffuser, carbon hood, carbon decklid, carbon and CFP center console, seats, the sculpted and carpeted area where the rear seats USED to be, the 24 lbs of missing asphalt/tar sound deadening, the monoballl/uniball mounted suspension (instead of the rubber bushings street cars almost always have), the lighter forged wheels, standard carbon ceramic brakes.

It is 200 lbs lighter and has more power than even the new 2025 M4 Competition. Yes M4 Competition is quicker 0-60 (because of X-Drive) but beyond 60 the CSL hits 100 in 6.9, 150 in 15.4 while running 11.1 @ 131mph. Thats quicker than any Hellcat Redeye, ZL1, ZL1 1LE and on par with a GT500. It hit almost 159 mph on the front straight at VIR during Car and Drivers Lightning Lap and wound up running 2:47--quicker than ANY BMW at Lightning Lap ever. It also put down 7:20 at the 'Ring which is great for a 3580 lbs coupe that was turned into a sports car, and not a pure sports car turned into a track monster like a GT3 RS (which is my ultimate dream)
