This is exactly what I was looking for - to convert without having to download the ckpt and use webui for the conversion. Thank you so much!
You asked what would be a good thing to cover so - I know that 100% of the tutorials are for people=creators that want to USE the models/webui, but I really wish someone could upload a tutorial for developers (such as yours truely) looking to get into the code itself and understand more on how to change/tweak/add features etc.

Great video, but I think is missing important step to work. I kept trying following exactly, but in the Safetensors to Ckpt section.
The "branch" text boxhas to be replaced with the file you are converting to. So the text box that starts off saying main, needs to be changed to ckpt, or safetensors ect. Was trying over and over and finally worked once i filled that in

i tried twice to convert safetensor to ckpt and everything seemed to work except there was no download in the "files and versions" tab only thing there was the ".gitattributes" thingy

Its error when try to convert ckpt to safetensors 😭 the download ckpt thing is success, but when i click convert to safetensors its error :(

ive been trying to do it myself and it doesnt seem to work... not sure whats happening but it doesnt show anything, and when i clone it into my own space it errors out
