The kids are 2 and 3, they don't know the difference between a $200 tv and a $800 tv

$75/month for gymnastics is crazy cheap, wow.

“You started at 0 in your mid 20s. You’re in your mid 30s. You’ve allowed yourself to stay at zero.”

That shit cuts deep

A TV being a need for a good childhood lol. No that is not for the kid, just admit it's for you.

Dude's really good at calling people out. I needed this.
"Allowing yourself to stay at zero."
That hurts more than i thought it was.

800$ for a TV is crazy expensive, there’s 4k 55 inch TV for 400 everywhere and even that is pricey. No 2/3 year old will care about a used TV as long as Paw patrol can be put on the screen 😂

“We’re not inheriting anything”

Good grief. You aren’t OWED anything from your family.

You can get perfectly fine HD TVs at a thrift store nowadays with an equally cheap fire stick/roku to make it a smart tv but people have been so misled by marketing and consumerism

We bought a 50" a year or two ago, i think we paid $150.

... A television isn't a requirement for a happy childhood ... If anything less tv will do them more good.
And even then kids don't care about having a nice big tv, they'd be just as happy with a cheaper one.

Because the kids care about a $800 TV 🙄 I think paying for the gymnastics is worth it, that sounds crazy affordable for a sport/activity.

I wasn't allowed to have a TV in my room when I was growing up! And, I didn't let my kid have one either. What is wrong with these folks?

All 3 of my tv’s are hand-me downs. Spent a total of $50

Wait, we were all supposed to inherit money when we became adults? The best scenario I can hope for is a bill for the funeral.

“We aren’t inheriting anything”

even when people do inherit, that inheritance usually doesn’t drop until you’re in your 40’s or 50’s. You don’t plan the family off of inheritance.

I bought what I believed to be a nice TV for myself, and it was on sale for $225. A kid doesn’t need something fancy. I grew up with a tiny box TV.

Walmart and Pawn Shops have many TVs for under $250

😂 this girl thinking not inheriting anything yet (well at all i guess) is a bad thing. Like idk how actually does inherit stupid AND thats usually when someone passes away like wtf? Was that a hope for her
